Call for Proposals
Selected proposals will be allotted 15-20 minutes per speaker. Proposals that tie to the conference theme, "Beyond the Route: Ideas, Insights, and Innovations in Public Transit", will be given priority. NYPTA is encouraging graduates of the Public Transit Leadership Institute (PTLI) to present on your area of expertise. Presentations will be selected based on topics, relevance to conference attendees, timeliness, and other criteria. Please submit your proposal no later than Friday, May 24, 2024. When completing your proposal, be concise, yet include enough detail to convey the scope of the presentation content. Proposals will be evaluated on their perceived interest to attendees including how well they relate to current issues of importance facing the transit industry. Proposals should be well thought out and clearly describe the topic to be discussed. Proposals submitted by private consultants, vendors, or operators should attempt to include a client or representative of a transit system to provide context for the topic. Topic Ideas:
